100 Desserts to Die For
Organising a dinner party can be stressful. There’s so much to think about, from starters, mains and desserts to what wine to serve and how many nibbles you need before you sit down at the table. To help you out, we’ve posted five great starter recipes taken straight from our cookbooks, from classics like Bruschetta to the more adventurous dishes like Sue Quinn’s Witlof Cups with Almond Tabouleh from ‘Easy Mediterranean’.
We get it, for some of you the prospect of a sugar-high just doesn’t push your buttons. Instead it’s everything savoury: buttery pastry, salty crisps, scrummy dips with amazing bread, doughy pizza and cheese. Just cheese. Lots of it.
So today, we’re dedicating this post to those of you who order the starter over the dessert. Think warm Courgette, parmesan and basil muffins dunked into soup, Roasted cauliflower hummus spread on flatbread, delicious Cornbread and Rustic Pumpkin, Ricotta and Caramelised Onion tart (which is on a pizza dough base - dreamy!)…
